Construction/Transportation Litigation Associate Transportation Attorney Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Transportation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation law, particularly in handling cases related to trucking accidents and auto accidents. This position involves providing legal advice, representing clients in litigation, and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations. Key Responsibilities • Represent clients in litigation related to transportation law, including trucking and auto accidents. • Provide legal advice on transportation regulations and compliance issues. • Research and analyze legal issues related to transportation and liability. • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and contracts. • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients. • Stay updated on changes in transportation laws and regulations. • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on complex cases. Qualifications • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Licensed to practice law in IL. • 5+ years of experience in transportation law and litigation. • Proven experience handling auto accident and trucking accident cases. • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
