CAD Drafter and Administrator Position Overview We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter and Administrator to join our team. This role involves creating precise 3D models, managing documentation processes, and ensuring efficient project workflows using SolidWorks and Arena. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical design principles and be adept at technical drawings. Key Responsibilities • Create and modify 3D models using SolidWorks. • Manage all the interactions between Arena and SolidWorks. • Facilitate customer facing documentation. • Develop and maintain accurate documentation for design projects. • Manage project workflows and timelines using Arena. • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design specifications are met. • Prepare technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing. • Assist in the development of design standards and best practices. Qualifications • Proven experience in 3D modeling and drafting, specifically with SolidWorks. • Strong knowledge of documentation processes and project management. • Familiarity with Arena for project workflow management. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Nice to have: Experience with AutoCAD, drafting, technical drawings, and mechanical design.
