REMOTE POSITION, east coast preferred Position Overview The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth and expanding market presence within the trucking and transportation industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong sales acumen to identify new business opportunities and foster relationships with potential clients. Key Responsibilities • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the trucking and transportation sectors. • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders. • Conduct market research to inform strategic decisions and sales approaches. • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create effective sales strategies. • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients. • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets. • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market. Qualifications • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in heavy duty trucks/trucking or related industries. • Existing relationships at OE and Aftermarket channel locations. • Strong understanding of heavy duty equipment and parts. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. • Nice to have: experience in automotive, HVAC, heating, air conditioning, logistics, or refrigeration equipment.
