This GC is urgently hiring an Architectural Project Manager / Estimator, and their compensation package is compelling: • $170,000-$210,000 depends on experience • 401k / healthcare / disability insurance • Annual bonus • Annual raise • Commuter Benefits The ideal candidate will have experience working on $50M+ projects with agencies such as the NYSDOT, LIRR, Metro-North, Amtrak, or LIRR. Position Overview The Architectural Estimator is responsible for analyzing project requirements and preparing accurate cost estimates for architectural and construction projects. This role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that projects are completed within budget and specifications. Key Responsibilities • Review and analyze architectural drawings and specifications to prepare detailed quantity takeoffs. • Conduct cost analysis and prepare comprehensive bid proposals for construction projects. • Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and coordinate bidding activities. • Evaluate subcontractor quotes and negotiate contracts to secure the best pricing and terms. • Monitor project budgets and provide cost forecasts throughout the construction process. • Assist in value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. • Prepare construction documents and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
