Accounting Manager We are a largely privately-owned company in the consumer products industry. We have our products available in stores nationwide and are continuing to grow! We are looking to add an on-site Accounting Manager to our team, who will report to the Controller out of our Tinley Park, IL office. Key Reponsibilities • Participate and lead in the financial month-end/quarter-end/year-end close, coordinating year-end audits • Crosscommunication within various departments and several manufacturing plant locations accounting staff • Assist with internal reports for financial analysis, financial reporting, budgets, forecasts, and analysis of results with upper management • Ensure company compliance with GAAP, implementing new accounting systems, and maintaining processes • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar field • 5+ years of professional accounting experience in either public or private accounting industries • Experience leading audits, ASC606/ASC842/ASC985, budgets, forecasts, month-end close, financial statements GAAP accounting, general ledger(GL), financial reports, and more • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Collaborative communication between various departments • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and time management skills • Experience with ensuring accuracy and compliance of account entries, handling discrepancies, reconciliations, financial documents, audits, and more • Proficient in Excel or financial software (Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) Nice to Have: • CPA or CMA certification • Public Accounting firm experience • ERP implementation and various ERP systems knowledge • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Benefits • Great Company Culture + Collaborative Work Environment • Competitive base salary + Annual Discretionary Bonus % • PTO, Sicktime, Paid Holidays • Medical, Dental, Vision Plans • 401k Match • Life & Disability Insurance • Career growth opportunities & more! • For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
