Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated SOC Analyst to join our growing team. This role goes beyond the traditional SOC position—requiring not only technical expertise but also the ability to think critically, act decisively, and stay ahead of evolving threats. You will be at the forefront of monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents in real time, ensuring our clients remain protected from both cyber and physical threats. Key Responsibilities • Monitor and analyze security events, alerts, and logs from multiple sources. • Perform triage of incidents and escalate when necessary. • Conduct proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments. • Document findings, create incident reports, and provide recommendations for remediation. • Collaborate with senior analysts and engineers on complex security investigations. • Stay current on threat intelligence, attacker tactics, and new security tools. Minimum Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in SOC operations through independent study, labs, or hands-on projects. • Familiarity with SIEM tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, and endpoint protection. • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network traffic analysis, and common attack vectors. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills • Experience in advanced threat detection, malware analysis, or penetration testing. • Knowledge of multiple security frameworks and best practices (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, NIST). • Ability to correlate data across multiple platforms and think like an adversary. • Above-average technical depth compared to standard SOC roles—seeking analysts who can operate at a higher tier of critical thinking and execution.
