Position Summary The Domain Owner supports their respective product leadership across one or more product teams. They define and drive the execution of initiatives that cross multiple products/experiences/ lines of business, support the translation of business and user needs into technology-enabled solutions, ensure the product roadmap is optimized to achieve long-term key user and business goals. This role is also responsible for creating and managing the product development roadmap, and for coordinating dependencies across teams. They function as the main point of contact for successful Epic delivery and final customer outcomes, working directly with other Product Management role (Product Manager, Product Lead, Product Owner, etc.) when necessary to ensure features are on track for near-term and long-term delivery. This individual will drive status for cross-product metrics and develop initiative-level measurement plans through alignment across key stakeholders. They will drive the successful delivery and go-to-market plan of their integrated product areas and socialize updates with senior leadership. This individual will work closely and cross-functionality with others in Product Management and business stakeholders to communicate critical updates and insights, specifically to key stakeholders and organization leaders. What You Will Do: • Defines the Epic/initiative vision through a deep understanding of customer needs and complexity through communication with Product Management. Effectively communicates the product vision to team members • Drives alignment of end-to-end experiences across products and channels while also evaluating consistency of the experiences across different channels • Responsible for reviewing and aligning roadmaps and workforce management tools across their respective solution and product areas • Supports Product Management to develop feature-level roadmaps for their features that supports the broader Epic/ initiative roadmap • Manage backlogs for products, experiences, and/or lines of business; will often support Product Management on refining specific products or experiences. • Lead a cross-functional product team through discovery and define scope to achieve user and business outcomes and communicate updates and changes to Product Management. • Leads identification of exploration enablers needed and owns discovery and architectural runway; includes writing enabler features and documenting learning outcomes. • As a part of the cross-functional team, collaborates closely with engineering, design, engineering, architecture, operations and other team members using agile practices • Interface and partners with Product Strategy to communicate progress, insights, and risks across the business, specifically with key stakeholders • Collaborate with business partners to deeply understand their business strategies and outcomes their teams are driving to ensure business perspective is reflected and communicated to product teams • Identifies and communicate product dependencies and assemble teams to identify solutions Required Qualifications • 7+ years required experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Manager, Consulting, IT, or related field. Previous experience in agile product development helpful • 7+ years required experience in software product management, with demonstrated success in building large-scale consumer facing products • Strong critical thinker who makes balanced, insightful decisions while considering not only their product component or experience, but also the broader impact on the business • Prioritizes work with an appropriate sense of urgency based on deadlines and overarching team goals • Fact-based problem solver with the ability to proactively identify and address potential issues, evaluate alternative courses of action, and make sound management decisions • Works collaboratively to establish strong working relationships across the senior management team, business units, as well as with external advisors and constituents • Self-starter; comfortable jumping in as needed to support the team • Creates a safe environment for everyone to bring their whole selves to work every day • Effective at sharing information by tailoring communication style based on audience • Comfortable and confident to lead team discussions • Able to make and communicate how multiple initiatives contribute and drive the overall portfolio strategy • Able to coach and mentor junior team members Preferred Qualifications • Prior working experience with a software development team in an agile environment • Ability to drive cross functional teams to alignment in the midst of ambiguity • Strong negotiation, organizational, management, analytical and people skills • Data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills • General understanding of core programming and computer science concepts Education • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology, Finance, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $130,295.00 - $260,590.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
