Job Description: • Oversees enterprise-wide inventory operations to ensure all materials are accurately tracked, properly secured, and readily accessible. • Leads the development of inventory control processes, directs physical inventory activities, and ensures accuracy across all inbound and outbound shipments. • Aligns inventory planning, purchasing, and management strategies with production and sales requirements to optimize availability, cost, and operational efficiency. • Leads vendor management activities, including onboarding, performance evaluation, and ongoing relationship management to ensure service quality and operational reliability. • Oversees fulfillment operations to ensure vendors meet delivery timelines, service-level expectations, product availability, and quality standards for both inbound and outbound inventory flows. • Partners with vendors and third-party logistics providers to streamline fulfillment processes, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance end-to-end supply chain efficiency. • Develops and implements inventory strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. • Ensures accurate and timely inventory replenishment, manages inventory turnover rates, and monitors stock levels to maintain a healthy balance between inventory availability and cost. • Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory utilization, stockouts, fill rates, and obsolescence to assess the effectiveness of inventory management strategies. • Establishes supplier relationships and vendor-managed inventory (VMI) programs or consignment arrangements to optimize inventory flow and reduce lead times. • Leverages data analytics, demand forecasting techniques, and inventory optimization tools to identify opportunities for reducing excess stock, improving inventory turnover, and enhancing overall inventory performance. • Collaborates with various internal stakeholders, such as procurement, sales, operations, product, and finance teams, to align inventory management strategies with overall business objectives. • Develops contingency plans, implements risk mitigation strategies, and monitors market dynamics and supply chain vulnerabilities to minimize the impact of risks on inventory availability and customer satisfaction. • Leads a team of inventory management coordinators, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
