Role Overview: As the Manager of Financial Reporting, you will play a critical role in overseeing the preparation and accuracy of financial statements and reports. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while supporting strategic financial planning and decision-making. This role requires a detail-oriented leader who can manage a team and collaborate across departments in a hybrid work environment. What You'll Do: - You will lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP and SEC regulations. - You will manage the financial reporting team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. - You will coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate audits and ensure compliance. - You will analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including accounting, legal, and operations to support financial reporting needs. - You will develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity. - You will assist in the preparation of SEC filings and other regulatory submissions. - You will stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance. What You Bring: - You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred. - You have at least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably within the healthcare or medical device industry. - You possess strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX compliance. - You have proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team. - You are proficient in financial reporting software and advanced Excel skills. - You demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP. - Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards. - Prior experience working in a hybrid or remote work environment. - Advanced certifications such as CMA or MBA.
