Install, modify, and customize equipment on specialty trucks including truck bodies, suspensions, and wheelbases, while maintaining shop safety and cleanliness.
High school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, mechanical aptitude or training, own mechanic's tools, and preferably VoTech, military, or on-the-job mechanical experience.

In this role, you will install, modify, and customize equipment on a variety of specialty trucks used in utility, rail, telecom, infrastructure, forestry, and other industries. Check out https://www.customtruck.com/ [https://www.customtruck.com/] Schedule * Monday–Friday, 7am - 3:30pm (Overtime as needed) What We’re Looking For * High mechanical aptitude or vocational/technical training * Experience with electrical systems, schematics/blueprints, hydraulics, welding, or related skills preferred * Must own mechanic’s tools * Valid driver’s license required * VoTech, Military mechanic training, or on-the-job experience highly desired Duties and Responsibilities: * Installation and removal of several types of truck bodies and equipment. * Modification of truck wheelbases. * Installation and removal of truck suspensions. * Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Custom Truck and factory standards. * Fabrication and installation of components related to truck equipment installations. * Always keeps shop area neat and clean and account for all tools. * Uses and maintains all necessary shop equipment required to complete any repairs or PM inspections. * Disposes of used oil, grease, antifreeze, and filters in the assigned location to ensure EPA compliance. * Attend CTOS and factory-sponsored training classes. * Works with all departments in harmony. * Ability to follow Company’s Job Safety policies and attend safety training classes. * Other duties as needed.
