## About the role We are seeking a Spatial Data Manager to act as the central point of contact for space technology solutions within a client environment. The Spatial Data Administrator uses CAD and other design/space technology software to support Project Management, Occupancy Planning and Move Managers. This person will ensure current drawings and systems are maintained and that relevant space reports are generated on a regular basis. Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with construction and furniture terminology is required; expertise in CAD/CAFM and the methodologies and calculations used to generate and analyze allocation models is critical. ### Day-to-day work and expectations You will develop designs using computer-assisted design/drafting (e.g., CAD) equipment and software and establish and maintain an organized file system for As - Built Drawings. Converting existing construction drawings to computer-aided design/drafting software will be routine. Communication with Project Management, Space Planning and Move Management for CAD needs is essential, as is generating reports and analysis on space. The role manages and reports space allocation data, including business presence and archiving, and proactively monitors space allocation data and changes. You will provide allocation data in accordance with client Space Allocation Process requirements. Responsibilities described in the posting include: - Establish core program standards for global space naming conventions, allocation model application, drawing standards and reporting standards. - Establish working relationships and guide the development of roles and responsibilities with partners. - Establish a governance program and data quality assurance reporting for global consistency of portfolio space and occupancy data. - Proactively monitor the execution of the client space allocation model and delivery of reporting in accordance with client space allocation process. - Serve as SPOC and global system administrator for client space data management system, enforcing user controls and system continuity. - Enable system integration efforts with the CAFM system to enhance availability and quality of spatial and occupancy data. - Recommend process improvements and performance enhancements in the use of the client space data management system and provide space data management system training for system users. - Guide and review recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, cost savings, and innovative service advancements for all functional areas. - Coach space team leadership in effective space planning and FF&E solution development, ensuring compliance with established process workflows and consistent service delivery for all project types. ### Who we expect you to be Education requirement: BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in Architectural Technology, Space Planning, Space Data Management, Data Analytics or Occupancy Planning.
