Job Title Director, Employee Relations Job Description Summary The Director of Employee Relations is responsible for leading the organization’s employee relations strategy, ensuring a positive workplace culture, and managing complex employee issues. This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, HR partners, and employees, balancing organizational goals with fair and consistent treatment of staff. Job Description • Strategic Leadership • Develop and implement employee relations strategies aligned with organizational objectives. • Partner with senior leadership to foster a culture of trust, accountability, and inclusion. • Monitor workforce trends and recommend proactive solutions to mitigate risks. • Employee Relations Management • Oversee investigations into employee complaints, misconduct, and policy violations. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. • Provide guidance to managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. • Policy & Compliance • Review, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures. • Ensure consistent application of policies across departments. • Collaborate with legal counsel on complex employee relations matters. • Training & Development • Design and deliver training programs for managers on employee relations best practices. • Build organizational capability in handling workplace issues effectively. • Promote awareness of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. • Data & Reporting • Track employee relations metrics and trends to inform leadership decisions. • Prepare reports on investigations, grievances, and workplace climate. • Recommend improvements based on data insights. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
