Position Title: Data Entry specialist Location: Remote - Candidate must be local to Phoenix, AZ Clearance Requirements: Must be able to handle confidential health data per ADHS confidentiality policies Position Status: Full Time, Contract (7+ months with likely extension) Pay Rate: $20/hr on W2 Position Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant (Data Entry) to support a Government Sector client in Phoenix, AZ. While this role is remote, candidates must already reside in the Phoenix area and have access to a private, secure workspace to ensure confidentiality. In this role, you will provide specialized administrative and data entry support to the HIV Surveillance team. You will be responsible for accurate data entry into electronic systems, ensuring data quality, and supporting staff with records management. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to work with sensitive health information while adhering to confidentiality policies. Key Responsibilities: • Enter and maintain accurate data in electronic health systems while following established data quality guidelines. • Perform quality control checks to prevent duplicates and ensure consistency. • Organize and manage both paper and electronic records. • Assist in obtaining missing information from laboratories and healthcare providers. • Provide general administrative support to the team. • Handle confidential health information with discretion and compliance. Required Skills/Education • 2+ years of data entry experience with proven accuracy and attention to detail. • Experience in the healthcare or public health field. • Ability to provide and use your own computer/laptop (equipment will not be provided). • High School Diploma or higher. Preferred Skills • Experience with medical data software such as Medsic, EHARS, or Prism. • Prior experience with medical data entry or working with confidential health records.
