Strategy and Operations Manager (Operator Track) About Curex Curex is a NYC-based digital health company delivering convenient, affordable allergy care (at-home diagnostics, telemedicine, and immunotherapy). We’re growing fast and professionalizing just as fast. The Role This is a hands-on operator role for a smart, analytical doer with a bias for action. You’ll help run the day-to-day for a 75-person virtual clinic (clinicians, MAs, pharmacists, software developers, marketers, care managers, etc.) while building the systems that let us scale. Expect founder hours (9-9-6 during sprints), steep learning, and real responsibility. What You’ll Do (day to day) Own daily operations: staffing, schedules, coverage, and service levels (SLAs). Monitor live dashboards; triage issues in real time; unblock teams within minutes, not days. Build and enforce SOPs for intake, consults, Rx/fulfillment, QA, and patient support. Instrument the business: define KPIs/OKRs, create weekly scorecards, and run standups. Drive throughput and quality: reduce cycle times, rework, escalations, and error rates. Launch new products and initiatives. Run capacity planning + workforce management; optimize shift design and costs. Partner with Pharmacy Ops to tighten handoffs, BUD/QA workflows, and turnaround times. Own vendor coordination (telehealth, logistics, payments) and hold them to SLAs. Support compliance (HIPAA/telemed/pharmacy): audit trails, access controls, incident playbooks. Hire, coach, and performance-manage ICs and leads; raise the bar every quarter. You Are 2–6 years in high-intensity, analytical environments (startup ops, consulting, banking, BizOps/RevOps, healthcare ops a plus). Execution-obsessed: you ship daily, measure impact, and iterate. Quantitative: advanced Excel/Sheets; comfortable with SQL/BI dashboards. Systems thinker: can turn chaos into clear processes without slowing growth. High ownership & resilience: thrive in founder-pace (including 9-9-6 sprints). Clear communicator and coach; can set standards, give feedback, and make tough calls. Integrity with patient data; comfortable operating in regulated settings. Location NYC; hybrid option may be available over time.
