Provide technical support and training for Culligan products to key customers, including troubleshooting, installation supervision, and quality reporting within a regional territory.
Requires 5 years of water treatment industry experience, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and ability to conduct product training.
The Regional Technical Advisor and Trainer will be responsible for the technical support of key Culligan customers within a geographic area (including Texas, Dallas area) including; troubleshooting assistance, product & water technology training, quality reporting, C&I project assistance, product field testing, and matters of customer satisfaction. Culligan key customers include; franchise dealerships, Industrial end-users, National Accounts, mechanical contractors, and partners in retail products. Support of Culligan products includes standard Culligan-branded products, modified-standard equipment, special engineered systems, and alternative channel products. Specific Job Function: • Report regularly on support provided in the region as well as travel-related expenditures. • Schedule and conduct regular product training meetings and seminars for dealership associates including service, sales and office staff. • Conduct periodic Certification Training at Rosemont World Headquarters for Household and Commercial focus areas. • Provide on-site product support, installation supervision, and operator training on Commercial and Industrial products. • Participate in two-way communication on product and service-related information Quality Assurance and Product Management. • Support sales growth opportunities through teamwork with Regional Sales Managers, Commercial Sales Managers, and National Accounts teams. • Other duties as assigned. Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED required; College or technical degree preferred. • Experience: 5 years in the water treatment industry. • Classroom instructor or teacher is highly desirable. • Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) • Strong mathematical skills required including understanding of reference materials such as tables and charts. • Ability to read and understand plumbing, piping and electrical wiring diagrams • Good mechanical aptitude required; must be able to detect cause of failure in water treatment system components. Experience in troubleshooting simple electrical circuits using handheld meters.
