Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Tableau Developer (Analyst/Developer - Specialty 3) in either Chicago, IL, Peoria, IL, or Dallas/Irving, TX. The work will be done onsite. This is a long-term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $53/hr W2 + full benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay. Our customer is the largest manufacturer of construction equipment in the world. Job Description The main function of a specialty analyst/developer is to design, develop, and modify data and dashboards. Additionally, this role will partner with a business analyst and assess the current landscape of dashboards, make a plan to reduce the landscape, and execute a new dashboard strategy. Job Responsibilities: • Modify existing dashboards to correct errors • Analyze the future needs of users and execute on development requirements • Design, develop and modify data and dashboards, using aftermarket data and Tableau • Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan specifications and layouts • Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine dashboard configuration • Consult with the business about dashboard design and maintenance • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces Work environment: Candidates could sit in either Chicago, Peoria and Irving/Dallas, but must be able to go into the office 5x a week . Education & Experience Required: • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field with 5+ years’ experience (Master’s: 4+ years; PhD: 4+ years; No degree: 10+ years). • Portfolio required – include an interactive dashboard link (not screenshots). Technical Skills (Required) • Required: Industry standard Visualization Tools: 5+ years exp Tableau(required), Power BI (preferred) *high level visual communication skills and independence (Desired) • Desired: Data transformation Tools: SQL language, Snowflake, Salesforce, Google Analytics *ie developing dashboards for large companies Interview Process: 2 rounds of interviews (1st is technical interview and 2nd round is with Work Director and leadership) via teams.
