Why Work Here: • Opportunity to influence maintenance operations and drive continuous improvement • Join a supportive environment that values its employees and emphasizes safety, teamwork, and high-quality output • Work with a company committed to operational excellence and employee development Key Responsibilities: Safety Leadership • Foster and maintain a strong safety culture by ensuring maintenance personnel follow best safe work practices • Lead hazard identification and mitigation efforts prior to work commencing Operations & Continuous Improvement • Promote a continuous improvement culture by coaching, communicating, and identifying opportunities to streamline production and maintenance processes • Lead maintenance-related improvement initiatives that enhance uptime and reliability Maintenance Planning & Execution • Develop, implement, and maintain maintenance schedules that support plant mechanical and electrical functions • Oversee cost control, planning, and high-level maintenance management activities • Address operational concerns proactively to support smooth plant operations Leadership & Quality • Provide strong leadership and training aligned with manufacturing principles • Ensure quality standards and order specifications are met throughout production • Perform additional duties as needed Must-Have Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in a maintenance leadership role within an industrial or manufacturing environment • Experience with millwright work, welding, electrical, predictive and preventative maintenance, and process improvements • Strong communication, team-building, and leadership skills • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work in hot, cold, loud, and outdoor environments around moving equipment and airborne particles Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in wood products manufacturing • Lean manufacturing or 5S experience
