7-10 years managing water/wastewater projects, Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering, PE license preferred, strong project management skills, and knowledge of regulations.
Location: Remote for first six months; U.S. Virgin Islands thereafter (lodging and per diem provided after relocation) Overview: The Project Manager (PM) for the Water/Wastewater Discipline will oversee and manage large-scale horizontal infrastructure projects or programs within the water and wastewater sector. This role ensures successful project execution from concept through completion by coordinating project teams, liaising with clients and stakeholders, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position is ideal for a highly skilled professional with experience in water/wastewater infrastructure, project management, and consulting. Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Execution • Lead and manage large water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project objectives. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. • Oversee design, engineering, and construction processes, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver highquality outcomes. • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks. • Establish and maintain clear communication with clients, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and internal teams.Team Leadership • Manage a crossfunctional team of engineers, technical experts, and consultants. • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project staff to support professional growth. • Facilitate team collaboration and meetings, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to project tasks.Client & Stakeholder Management • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing expectations and fostering strong relationships. • Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards throughout all project phases.Budget & Cost Control • Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within financial constraints. • Track expenditures and implement costeffective solutions. • Review and approve change orders and ensure proper documentation for scope changes.Required Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). • Professional Engineering (PE) license highly preferred. • 710 years of experience managing water/wastewater infrastructure projects. • Proven experience managing largescale horizontal infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pumping stations, water treatment plants, and wastewater systems. • Strong project management skills, including experience with MS Project or Primavera. • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to clients, regulators, and stakeholders. • Indepth knowledge of water/wastewater regulations, industry standards, and best practices. • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing project needs. • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with government agencies and utilities. • Familiarity with environmental impact assessments, permits, and regulatory processes for water/wastewater projects. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.Working Conditions • Position may require travel to project sites. • Officebased, with some onsite presence required during key project phases.Compensation & Benefits • Pay Range: $150,000 $200,000 annually • Competitive compensation and benefits package, including: oMedical, dental, and vision insurance • Short-term & long-term disability oLife/AD&D insurance • 401(k) retirement plan oPaid time off • Excellent career growth opportunities.Equal Opportunity Statement Cube Root Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE AA M/F/VET/DISABILITY).
