Job Title: Back End Developer Location: Burbank, CA – Onsite 4 days a week The Company Headquartered in Los Angeles, this leader in the Entertainment & Media space is focused on delivering world-class stories and experiences to its global audience. To offer the best entertainment experiences, their technology teams focus on continued innovation and utilization of cutting edge technology. Platform / Stack You will work with technologies that include TypeScript, Node, Gitlab, and GitHub. Compensation Expectation: $65 – 80/hr What You'll Do As a Back End Developer: • Focused on Immersive Technology you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that enable visual effects artists, production teams, and executives across all of the Studio’s banners to creatively and efficiently tell their stories • Collaborate with a team of software engineers and subject matter experts to design, build, test, and deploy software solutions for production workflows • Work with fellow engineers to create smooth, efficient, and dynamic user experiences • Prioritize and estimate work within an agile scrum process using user stories • Troubleshoot issues and implement defect fixes Qualifications: You could be a great fit if you have: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience • 5+ years of industry experience • Familiarity with databases, including PostgreSQL. • Strong proficiency in Node/Javascript, Type script as used in backend engineering. • Experience in designing RESTful API's. • Knowledge and experience using source control and CI tools such as Gitlab and GitHub. • Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills This client requires that a background check be completed.
