Full Description

R&D Lab Operations Technician Responsibilities: • Support lab operations, including visiting teams, vendors, and site improvements. • Maintain and repair test facilities, including Hydrogen Station and Fuel Cell Bench. • Troubleshoot high-voltage and high-pressure systems. • Manage parts and consumables inventory; handle ordering. • Perform routine maintenance on facility/test equipment. • Assist in Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) and ensure safe work practices. • Learn and adapt to evolving technologies in a fast-paced environment. • Prepare technical and general reports as needed. • Expect ~1 hour/day overtime and ~30% travel. Requirements: • 4+ years in roles such as Power Plant or Generator Technician, or related field. • Strong knowledge of high/low voltage systems; high voltage certification a plus. • Skilled in reading technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and system troubleshooting. • Experience commissioning equipment like generators. • Valid driver's license with clean record (last 3 years). • Proficiency in Windows, MS Word, Excel (computer aptitude test required). • Excellent communication, organization, and independent work skills. • Familiar with commercial/industrial electrical systems. • Experience with fabrication (machine shop, MIG/TIG welding) preferred. • Flexible to travel and adapt to changing work environments.
