$NaNK - NaNK a year
Lead and manage procurement engineering activities for a FOAK nuclear facility, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Extensive nuclear industry experience, deep expertise in procurement and equipment qualification, proven leadership in regulated environments.
Procurement Engineering Manager – Lead a FOAK Nuclear Build (USA) A first-of-a-kind nuclear medical isotope facility is under construction — and we’re looking for the leader who will own the procurement engineering function behind it. This is a high-impact, senior leadership role directing a specialist team responsible for Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD), seismic & environmental qualification, and receipt inspection across a safety-critical nuclear build. If you thrive in complex, regulated environments and enjoy building teams as much as systems, this one is worth a conversation. The Mission: You’ll lead and scale a procurement engineering organisation supporting construction of a landmark nuclear facility. From strategy through execution, you’ll ensure dedication, qualification, and inspection activities are delivered to the highest nuclear quality standards — without compromising schedule. What You’ll Own • Full leadership of procurement engineering staff (hiring, mentoring, performance) • Oversight of Commercial Grade Dedication (EPRI NP-5652), seismic and environmental qualification programs. • Direction of receipt inspection activities for safety-related and non-safety-related equipment. • Cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Controls, and CGD Lab teams. • Budget management and detailed schedule ownership, including early risk identification and resource rebalancing. • Disposition of OSDD reports and regulatory compliance oversight. What We’re Looking For • 15+ years nuclear industry experience (degree preferred). • Deep expertise in Commercial Grade Dedication (EPRI NP-5652). • Strong understanding of ASME NQA-1 and equipment qualification. • Proven leadership experience in regulated, safety-critical environments • Ability to balance quality, cost, and schedule without compromising standards. Why This Role? This is not a maintenance programme. This is FOAK nuclear infrastructure. High visibility. Real accountability. Direct impact on construction execution. You’ll shape the procurement engineering backbone of a facility that will redefine domestic isotope production — and build a team that delivers it.
