We’ve got five rock-solid mechanics keeping fleets rolling, a Shop Manager who’s great on the floor but needs backup and a killer bookkeeper who keeps the numbers tight. The shop is stable and profitable, now it needs a leader who can take it to the next level: expand services, grow the client base and scale operations sustainably. If you thrive in high-stakes ops where results trump excuses, this is your shot to build something massive in the trucking world. About the Role You’re the GM, the buck stops with you. You’ll run the show: ops, team, growth. Report straight to the owner but own the vision. We’re not here for mediocrity, we’re here to dominate Phoenix truck repair. Expect to hit the ground running, fix what’s broken, and 10x what’s working. No hand-holding, just results. What You’ll Do · Own Daily Ops: Oversee the five mechanics and shop manager—schedule jobs, enforce standards, crush bottlenecks. Turn chaos into a well-oiled machine that pumps out repairs faster than competitors. · Drive Admin Excellence: Partner with our bookkeeper to nail invoicing, inventory, and compliance. Shore up the shop manager’s admin gaps without micromanaging—lead, don’t babysit. · Spearhead Growth: Hunt fleet contracts, launch mobile services, upsell maintenance packages. Aim for 20-50% revenue bump in year one. Marketing? Vendor deals? Your call, make it happen. · Build the Team: Hire, train, fire if needed. Foster a culture where mechanics show up hungry and customers come back loyal. · Track & Optimize: Own the numbers — efficiency, customer satisfaction, and margins — and use data to drive decisions that grow real profit. · Report & Strategize: Monthly updates to the owner on wins, misses, and the path to $2M+ revenue. What We’re Looking For · Proven Operator: 5+ years as a GM or ops lead in auto/truck repair (dealerships, fleets, or shops count). You’ve scaled a team of 5-20 and boosted revenue 30%+. · Admin Ninja: Comfortable with QuickBooks, scheduling software, and vendor wrangling. No degree needed, results will do. · Growth Hacker: Track record of landing big clients or expanding services. If you’ve never cold-called a trucking firm, keep scrolling. · No-Ego Leader: You motivate without rah-rah BS. Mechanics respect you because you get your hands dirty when it counts. · Phoenix Local (or Willing to Relocate): We’re boots-on-ground. Remote? Not here. · Values Fit: Integrity first.
