Construction Project Manager/Estimator We're looking for a highly skilled Construction Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a background in commercial glazing and a solid understanding of the construction project lifecycle. You'll be responsible for both preparing bids and managing projects, requiring a mix of technical expertise and strong leadership skills. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives on a diverse workload and enjoys seeing projects from the bidding phase through to completion. Key Responsibilities • You'll prepare detailed proposals and estimates for a variety of commercial glazing projects. This involves interpreting architectural plans and specifications to accurately determine material, labor, and equipment costs. • You will oversee projects from the moment they are awarded. This includes managing schedules, budgets, and submittals, as well as coordinating with general contractors, architects, and field teams. • You must be proficient with project management tools and software (Procore, Bluebeam, Smartsheet) • Excellent communication skills are essential for coordinating with various stakeholders and ensuring projects stay on track and within budget. Qualifications • Proven experience as a project manager and/or estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on glazing or a related field. • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and technical specifications. • Familiarity with the entire construction project lifecycle from pre-construction to closeout. • Proficiency with relevant software and tools (Procore, Bluebeam, Smartsheet). • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality.
