Job Description Crum & Forster (C&F) is seeking a dynamic and analytical Operations Analyst to join our Commercial and Executive Team. This role will serve as a strategic partner to business units, driving operational excellence through structured and unstructured problem solving. The ideal candidate will leverage data, process knowledge, and business acumen to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and support the implementation of initiatives that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, quality and customer experience. What you will do for C&F: Business Partnership: Collaborate with underwriting, Digital Team and other business units to understand operational challenges and opportunities. Problem Solving: Lead and support both structured (data-driven, process improvement) and unstructured (ambiguous, cross-functional) problem-solving initiatives. Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate QA strategy, ensuring compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement. Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, root causes, and actionable insights. Process Improvement: Map, evaluate, and redesign business processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality. Project Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of operational projects and initiatives. Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations for stakeholders at all levels. Change Management: Support the adoption of new processes, technologies, and best practices across the organization. Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate meetings, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to drive consensus and action. Continuous Learning: Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to P&C insurance operations. What you will bring to C&F: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline 2-3+ years of experience in operations analysis, business analysis, or process improvement, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience with process mapping and improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter with a passion for problem solving and continuous improvement. Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $50,600.00 to a maximum of $95,300.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range.
