Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of commercial doors and hardware, Division 8 specifications, and proficiency in Comsense software. This role requires a strong leader who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensure timely completion, and maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Manage all aspects of commercial door and hardware projects from inception to completion • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any issues or concerns • Prepare and review project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders • Utilize Comsense software for project management, estimating, and documentation • Ensure compliance with Division 8 specifications and industry standards • Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies • Oversee the procurement and delivery of materials and equipment • Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support and expertise during the bidding process • Monitor project performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives • Mentor and guide junior team members in project management best practices QualificationsRequired: • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in commercial doors and hardware • In-depth knowledge of Division 8 specifications and products • Proficiency in Comsense software • Strong understanding of building codes, ADA requirements, and fire and life safety regulations • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Preferred: • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification • Door and Hardware Institute (DHI) certifications (e.g., AHC, CDC, EHC) • Experience with AutoCAD or other CAD software • Knowledge of sustainable building practices and LEED certification requirements
