Position Summary The Sr. Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the implementation of all inventory control processes within the Crown Castle logistics network. This strategic role provides the team highly proficient Inventory accounting, process, and documentation specifically regarding inventory accuracy, trends, root-cause analysis and reporting. The position leads national inventory oversight via inventory control programs ensuring participation and accurate inventory control. Essential Job Functions • Assists the Inventory Control Manager in the creation of detailed cycle counts and yearly physical inventory plans. This includes assessing the adequacy, efficacy and efficiency of current plans and determine compliance with established policies/procedures. • Responsible for complete inventory count lifecycle. i.e. scheduling, implementation, monitoring and accurate compliant documentation of all inventory control plans. • Provide count plan guidance and training to warehouse managers, supervisors, Operations personnel, 3rd party inventory possessors, and independent observers to increase the ability of the business to control, reconcile and account inventory accurately and maintain compliant documentation. • Maintain required detailed records of data and communications surrounding all inventory counts and variance resolutions in compliance with policy, regulations and Internal Audit • Act as inventory control SME on process knowledge, including training, improvement initiatives, process tools and methodologies. • Assist in Supply Chain review of control deficiency analysis and development of remediation plans (including root cause analysis). • Coordinate with SCM to report metrics for consolidation into corporate dashboard; ensure quality and accuracy of information being provided. Monitor for trends and address proactively. Escalate as appropriate for risks. • Performs other duties as assigned. Education And Experience/Minimum Requirements • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum One to Five (1-5) years of experience in audit, internal controls, compliance, finance, accounting, asset protection, supply chain, inventory management or related area required. Other Skills/Abilities • Exceptional Microsoft Excel expertise • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Excellent customer service skills • Strong financial acumen • Expert knowledge of Inventory Audit Compliance and Inventory/Project Accounting • JDE and/or Oracle Fusion experience a plus Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home. There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require up to 25% travel. Compensation The salary range offered for this position is $62400 - $85700 annually. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives.
