Role Overview: As the Director of Engineering for Sensor Quality, you will lead the quality assurance efforts for CrowdStrike Falcon Sensor releases. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that all sensor deployments meet the highest standards of reliability and compatibility within diverse customer environments, driving excellence in end-to-end validation processes. What You'll Do: - You will lead and mentor a high-performing QA engineering team focused on sensor quality assurance. - You will develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies to validate sensor compatibility and performance. - You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams to align quality goals. - You will oversee the execution of end-to-end testing scenarios to simulate real-world customer environments. - You will analyze quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sensor reliability. - You will manage release readiness and ensure timely delivery of high-quality sensor updates. - You will champion best practices in QA methodologies and automation to increase efficiency. - You will communicate quality status and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders. What You Bring: - You bring 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - You have deep expertise in QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and sensor or endpoint security technologies. - You possess strong analytical skills and experience with quality metrics and reporting tools. - You have excellent leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - You are proficient in developing and executing complex test plans in agile environments. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in cybersecurity or endpoint protection product quality assurance. - Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Background in software development or engineering in addition to QA expertise. - Experience working in a fully remote or distributed team environment.
