Role Overview: As the Director of Engineering for Sensor Development Tooling, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of developer tooling infrastructure that supports the Falcon Sensor engineering teams. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of robust, scalable tools that enhance productivity and innovation across multiple specialized teams. What You'll Do: - You will oversee the development, maintenance, and evolution of critical developer tooling infrastructure. - You will manage and mentor three specialized engineering teams supporting hundreds of engineers. - You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, security, and engineering leadership to align tooling strategies with business goals. - You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize developer workflows and tool performance. - You will establish best practices for software development, deployment, and monitoring within your teams. - You will recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent to build a high-performing organization. - You will ensure the scalability and reliability of tooling systems to support rapid growth. - You will stay abreast of emerging technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into tooling solutions. What You Bring: - You bring 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles. - You have deep expertise in developer tooling, infrastructure, and automation. - You possess strong knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and software development lifecycle. - You demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. - You have a proven track record of managing multiple engineering teams and delivering complex projects. - You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in cybersecurity or related technology sectors. - Familiarity with Falcon Sensor technology or similar endpoint security products. - Background in remote team management and distributed workforce leadership. - Advanced certifications in cloud technologies or project management.
