Role Overview: As the Director of Engineering for Sensor Development Tooling, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of developer tooling infrastructure that supports the Falcon Sensor engineering teams. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of robust, scalable tools that enhance productivity and innovation across multiple specialized teams. What You'll Do: - You will oversee the development, maintenance, and evolution of critical developer tooling infrastructure. - You will manage and mentor three specialized engineering teams supporting hundreds of engineers. - You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, security, and engineering leadership to align tooling strategies with business goals. - You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize developer workflows and tool performance. - You will establish best practices for software development, deployment, and monitoring within your teams. - You will recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent to build a high-performing organization. - You will manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery. - You will stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep tooling infrastructure innovative and competitive. What You Bring: - You have 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role. - You possess deep technical expertise in developer tooling, build systems, and infrastructure automation. - You have strong experience managing multiple engineering teams in a fast-paced, remote environment. - You demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams. - You have a proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget. - You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in cybersecurity or related technology sectors. - Familiarity with cloud-native development and container orchestration tools. - Knowledge of Falcon Sensor technology or similar endpoint security products. - Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
