Role Overview: As the Director of Engineering for Sensor Development Tooling, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of developer tooling infrastructure that supports the Falcon Sensor engineering teams. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of robust, scalable tools that enhance productivity and innovation across multiple specialized teams. What You'll Do: - You will oversee the development, maintenance, and evolution of critical developer tooling infrastructure. - You will manage and mentor three specialized engineering teams supporting hundreds of engineers. - You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, security, and engineering leadership to align tooling strategies with business goals. - You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize developer workflows and tool performance. - You will establish best practices for software development, deployment, and quality assurance within your teams. - You will lead recruitment, retention, and professional development efforts to build a high-performing engineering organization. - You will monitor key performance indicators and report on tooling effectiveness and team progress. - You will foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. What You Bring: - You have 10+ years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing multiple teams. - You possess deep technical expertise in developer tooling, software infrastructure, and cloud technologies. - You have strong experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, or C++. - You demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - You have a proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within scope. - You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in cybersecurity or related technology sectors. - Familiarity with Falcon Sensor technology or similar endpoint security products. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and container orchestration. - Experience working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
