Description: You will be leading two teams, the CMS team and the Reports team, which are both in the UI Framework Engineering org.The CMS Team builds and maintains our systems for delivering content to our console product - both the existing console, plus our nextgen console.The Reports Team is building and owns the exciting and high profile reports module within our next gen console.The teams are within UI Framework Engineering, which is at the heart of the architecture and build of the front end systems powering our platforms.At CrowdStrike, we believe all our Engineering Managers should have a strong coding background.As an Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible for the workload management, wellbeing, and professional growth of the engineers on your team.You’ll help foster an open and collaborative environment and support systems to help your team succeed.What You'll Do: Lead a team of engineers building front end systems using UI frameworks, TypeScript packages, and web componentsManage team workload, project resourcing & coordination in a fast-paced, highly distributed environmentSupport wellbeing of team members - providing support & guidance focused primarily on resourcing, progress, and soft skillsGather feedback from others, provide coaching as needed & in collaboration with senior engineers to advance team member skill setsBuild a team - leading and coordinating recruitment process from initial contact to offerMaintain visibility into the product roadmap and share that information back to other managers and team membersParticipate in team activities, such as roadmap planning, to prioritize projects on the roadmap based on availability of humans to do the work and business objectives that need to be metHave fun solving difficult problems Requirements: Strong engineering track-record focusing on front-end development & technologies (JS/TS/CSS/HTML)Experience with front end frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue and EmberExperience with Accessibility (a11y) best practices, tools and techniques such as compatibility with keyboard navigation, screen readers and WCAG guidelinesExperience with internationalization (i18n)A good understanding of Cloud Technologies and end to end delivery of data intensive SaaS productsStrong communication skills in both verbal and written formatsComfortable providing presentations and recommendations to stakeholder managementBeing an advocate UX consistency, accessibility and empathy for the end userExperience mentoring & supporting people and teams with empathy & professionalismExperience working with Product Managers and UX Designers for requirement analysis and driving the engineering team to come up with solution approach and design for delivering the requirementsExperience planning, tracking, delivering and managing multiple projectsExperience in remote-first environments and global teams Benefits: Remote-friendly and flexible work cultureMarket leader in compensation and equity awardsComprehensive physical and mental wellness programsCompetitive vacation and holidays for rechargePaid parental and adoption leavesProfessional development opportunities for all employees regardless of level or roleEmployee Networks, geographic neighborhood groups, and volunteer opportunities to build connectionsVibrant office culture with world class amenitiesGreat Place to Work Certified™ across the globe
