Full Description

Description: • CrowdStrike Falcon Host is a two-component security product with a sensor and cloud component • Sensor development team builds endpoint sensors for multiple platforms including Windows, Mac, and Linux • Engineering Manager will own major components and development projects and train/grow the team • Assist with architecting solutions and support in implementing core features across OS subsystems • Work on features that cross-cut file system, memory and process, and networking subsystems • Lead projects to maximize performance and minimize costs while ensuring high design and code quality • Provide partnership on sensor development team for architecture, strategy, and next-generation Anti-Virus and EDR • Develop new product concepts and support cross-platform deliverables (primarily Linux, but also MacOS and Windows) • Own features from design to delivery, including participation in sprint demos • Collaborate with multi-functional teams in various locations Requirements: • In depth knowledge with C/C++ and Linux internals/kernel • Strong low-level OS internals in Linux • Experience debugging memory corruptions, process contentions and system performance • Experience working with teams to ship major features and releases • Experience as an Engineering Manager with direct reports • Ability to lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team • Experience supporting architecture and implementing core cross-platform features • Bonus Points: Strong background in scalable, light-weight and highly performing systems • Bonus Points: OS system expertise for core concepts and subsystems • Bonus Points: Familiarity and experience with Agile process • Bonus Points: Knowledge in Security Benefits: • Remote-friendly and flexible work culture • Market leader in compensation and equity awards • Eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401k and paid time off • Comprehensive physical and mental wellness programs • Competitive vacation and holidays for recharge • Paid parental and adoption leaves • Professional development opportunities for all employees regardless of level or role • Employee networks, geographic neighborhood groups, and volunteer opportunities to build connections • Vibrant office culture with world class amenities • Great Place to Work Certified™ across the globe
