This remote volunteer position offers significant autonomy to create innovative people solutions while addressing critical HR gaps in our organization. You'll have the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives like our Nature Counter project, which promotes nature's health benefits through a location-based app. Core Strategic Responsibilities Choose focus areas based on your expertise and interests: Strategic People Infrastructure • Develop comprehensive talent frameworks aligned with CrowdDoing's systems change approach • Design scalable volunteer journey maps that guide individuals from orientation to leadership • Create cyclical assessment systems to identify talent gaps across initiatives • Implement appropriate HRIS solutions for our volunteer-powered organization Talent Ecosystem Development • Optimize talent acquisition channels to effectively engage our pool of 50,000+ volunteer applicants • Design innovative role development processes combining human expertise and AI collaboration • Create executive recruiting strategies to attract subject matter experts for specialized initiatives • Develop community management approaches that nurture volunteer well-being and satisfaction Engagement & Leadership Cultivation • Architect re-engagement strategies for dormant volunteers • Design micro-leadership pathways that allow volunteers to grow their impact while maintaining work-life balance • Create cross-cultural communication frameworks for our global volunteer community • Implement recognition systems that honor diverse contributions to systems change What Makes This Role UniqueMicro-Leadership in Action You'll experience the power of our micro-leadership model firsthand—taking ownership of specific HR dimensions without shouldering comprehensive responsibility.
