Day in the Life of a Value Based Programs Specialist The Value-Based Programs (VBP) Specialist plays a key role in enhancing patient care and optimizing outcomes for Crossroads patients enrolled in value-based arrangements. Partnering closely with Operations and Medical Operations, this position drives program success by analyzing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring patients consistently receive high-quality services that meet or exceed performance targets. Develop clear, compelling communications, presentations, and deliverables that translate data into actionable insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and monitor value-based care initiatives. Conduct in-depth analyses to assess program effectiveness and efficiency, recommending actionable solutions for improvement. Leverage data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and optimize program performance. Identify and escalate risks to the Sr. Manager of Value-Based Programs while contributing to mitigation strategies. Support the development of operational and medical procedures to enable timely interventions for targeted patient populations. Synthesize data to evaluate patterns and trends by location, demographics, and other factors, recommending actions for continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to healthcare teams to facilitate the adoption of value-based care practices. Assist in building and maintaining data systems that track actions, accountability, and contract-specific metrics. Stay current on industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in value-based care to continuously refine strategies. Location Remote with some travel as needed (quarterly). Education and Requirements Healthcare experience required, Commercial payor experience preferred Experience in healthcare analytics, program evaluation, or value-based care initiatives. Presentation experience. Proficiency in Windows applications, Excel and pulling data. Ability to travel if needed. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
