What You Will Be Doing • Conducting adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension • Creating individualized motivational strategies that resonate with young learners and foster enduring enthusiasm for reading • Reviewing student performance metrics to iteratively improve instructional methods and identify actionable trends • Partnering with technical staff to assess and refine AI-based literacy platforms Basic Requirements Reading Teacher key responsibilities • Bachelor's degree with advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent) • At least 2 years of experience delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students • Skilled at assessing reading levels, grouping students, and designing differentiated instruction without pre-written curricula • Proficient with AI/adaptive learning tools and responsive to student behaviors within them • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship • Willingness to work on-site at one of our campuses: Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL; or New York City, NY About Alpha Want to join a learning rebellion that’s transforming the traditional classroom?
