This role positions you beyond conventional teaching boundaries—you will function as a learning coach for Kindergarten through 2nd-grade students, guiding them to explore educational pathways with independence and determination. Our 2-Hour Learning program challenges conventional approaches by combining AI-powered adaptive platforms with essential literacy instruction delivered through evidence-based educational methods. While students work with advanced digital tools, they receive critical hands-on support in reading and writing from educators trained in scientific teaching frameworks. What You Will Be Doing • Guiding students through goal-setting processes and achievement milestones, developing their capacity for self-directed learning. • Delivering focused instruction in foundational literacy and social-emotional competencies, working alongside Reading Specialists. • Creating classroom conditions that promote curiosity and persistence through engaging, tactile learning activities. • Integrating AI-powered educational tools to strengthen learning outcomes and prepare students for technology-enhanced learning environments. • Working collaboratively with educators and counselors to address each student's distinct learning trajectory, tailoring approaches to individual needs and preferences. Reading Interventionist Key Responsibilities 💡 Lead the cultivation of self-directed learning capabilities and essential life skills for Kindergarten through 2nd grade students, establishing foundations for both educational achievement and holistic personal development. Basic Requirements • Available to work on-site at one of these campus locations: Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Tampa, FL; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ. • Bachelor's degree in any discipline. • Minimum 3 years of experience working with children ages 4 - 8 years old in educational, afterschool, athletics, or comparable environments. • Demonstrated capability to apply growth mindset principles and high-performance coaching techniques successfully. • Enthusiastic about and capable of leveraging AI and technology tools within educational contexts. • Authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship. Nice-to-have Requirements These qualifications strengthen your candidacy, though meeting the core requirements above is sufficient to apply! • Degree or certification in early childhood-related disciplines (education, child development, reading intervention, etc.) • Professional credentials or specialized training in early childhood pedagogies including CDA, Montessori, or Reggio Emilia. • Background as a K-2 classroom teacher, literacy coach, or reading specialist with structured training or professional development in reading & phonics instruction frameworks. • Prior work in environments focused on individualized learning pathways and technology-driven education.
