In this position, you will guide every family's experience from initial inquiry through enrollment, ensuring that each touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, authenticity, and excellence. You will manage ongoing communications, organize impactful admissions experiences, and sustain precise applicant data that support sound decision-making. If you excel in a dynamic, purpose-focused setting—where attentiveness, structure, and accuracy directly influence family engagement and enrollment success—this hybrid role provides both remote flexibility and consistent in-person participation at admissions activities. What You Will Be Doing Manage and oversee the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, considerate, and polished communication to prospective families (both virtually and face-to-face) Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with rigorous attention to accuracy Attend all admissions events, including information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings, whether on campus or online Collaborate directly with Lead Guides to arrange student shadow day visits Maintain admissions platforms, records, and follow-up actions with precision and currency What You Won’t Be Doing • Create admissions strategy or render final enrollment decisions • Function in an entirely administrative capacity with no direct family contact • Work within a sluggish, overly procedural structure • Emphasize relationship development alone without rigorous execution and follow-up Admissions Coordinator Key Responsibilities This position ensures that a frictionless, high-conversion admissions process strengthens enrollment outcomes and family satisfaction throughout Alpha's campuses. Basic Requirements • 2+ years of customer-facing experience • Proven administrative and organizational capabilities; you are dependable and meticulous • High attention to detail and experience sustaining accurate applicant records or CRM data • Comfortable managing remote responsibilities alongside in-person campus duties • Able to adjust rapidly and succeed in a dynamic, mission-driven environment • Authorized to work in the US and available to work in-person in NYC; NY or willing to relocate Nice-to-have Requirements • Experience in education, enrollment management, or school operations • Background facilitating admissions events or detailed onboarding workflows • Familiarity with rapidly evolving, technology-driven environments About Alpha Want to join a learning rebellion that’s transforming the traditional classroom? The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
