Location: Remote Experience: 10+ years Employment Type: Full-time Seniority: Senior / Lead / Principal IC We are seeking a hands-on, business-focused technologist to lead a Client Master Data Management (MDM) solution supporting Institutional and Wealth Management channels. This role owns the design, delivery, and evolution of enterprise MDM platforms managing data for organizations and associated contacts. The ideal candidate brings deep MDM expertise, strong understanding of asset/wealth management distribution, and the ability to drive high-quality solutions in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. What You’ll Be Working On • Leading the design and implementation of Client Master MDM solutions across institutional and wealth management businesses • Designing and delivering data solutions supporting asset and wealth management initiatives • Working closely with data stewards, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality master data outcomes • Analyzing master data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that improve business processes and decision-making • Providing technical leadership and guidance on MDM best practices, architectures, and governance • Building, deploying, and optimizing cloud-based data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability • Driving continuous improvement of data platforms, tools, and engineering standards Required Skills & Experience • 10+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, MDM, or enterprise data platforms • Deep knowledge of Master Data Management principles, processes, architectures, and patterns • Hands-on operational experience working with data stewards and product owners • Strong experience designing and implementing Client or Reference Data MDM solutions • Extensive experience with market and reference data in capital markets or investment management • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, data quality, and data governance • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence decisions and collaborate across business and technology teams Technical Skills • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining MDM platforms • Strong preference for Semarchy MDM (other enterprise MDM tools also considered) • Strong cloud data engineering experience on Azure • Proven experience building data pipelines using ADF, DBT, Fivetran, Snowflake • Experience optimizing pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability Leadership & Mindset • Proven leadership experience with ability to provide technical direction and oversight • Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment • High standards for quality, with low tolerance for poor execution • Ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term platform vision Why This Role • Own and lead mission-critical MDM platforms for wealth and institutional businesses • High visibility and impact across data, technology, and business stakeholders • Opportunity to work on complex, enterprise-scale data systems • Environment that values technical excellence, ownership, and execution rigor
