Full Description

We are working with a great team to assist them in brining aboard a new Software Development Engineer to support embedded and application development for vehicle electronic backbones with a focus on utilizing VxWorks. This is a hybrid role with 3-4 days onsite in Auburn Hills, MI, and an hourly pay rate of $50.00-$60.00 per hour. Travel expectation: up to 25% Requirements • Experience working on programs with external software development teams • Ability to obtain security clearance • Be able to work solo and as part of a team • Minimum 5 years experience in the field • Have a related degree in Computer Science or BSEE • Ability to utilize Microsoft suite of tools to provide information and updates to upper management • Knowledge of the Department of Defense on Cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework a plus • Experience working in PLM software such as IBM Jazz and requirements software such as CAMEO • Experience with CMMI and CMMC a plus • Cybersecurity best practice coding knowledge and use of HP Fortify scanner a plus • Experience with VX Works for Real Time computing systems • Experience coding in C and C++ in a Linux OS • Experience developing software development plans (SDP) a plus • Experience approving software code developed by others For immediate review please send a copy of your resume to Ken Markiewicz at kmarkiewicz@xfiregroup.com Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour Work Location: In person
