Our client is looking for an Accounting & Operations Manager in Warren, MI! Position Overview This role is ideal for a CPA or highly experienced accounting professional with a background in construction or project-based accounting. The position combines financial management, compliance oversight, and operational support to help ensure the company runs efficiently and profitably. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Finance • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable • Manage project accounting, billings, contracts, and change orders • Prepare monthly financial statements and year-end accounting • Monitor accounts, ledgers, and cash flow • Handle tax reporting and compliance • Process payroll, including certified payrolls • Manage W-2 and 1099 reporting • Oversee 401(k) administration • File Corporate Tax Returns Compliance & Reporting • Manage OCIP reporting • Prepare and submit union reports • Ensure compliance with all labor, tax, and financial regulations Qualifications • CPA preferred • Strong AP/AR experience • Experience with project accounting in a construction environment • Knowledge of contracts, change orders, and job costing • Payroll and certified payroll experience • Familiarity with union reporting, OCIP, and 401(k) administration • Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills • Strong computer skills, including accounting software, Microsoft Office, and client-specific platforms Apply Today!! #zr #IND1
