Lead product vision, roadmap, and execution for wealth management solutions integrating AI to improve advisor workflows.
Requires 5-10 years in Canadian financial institutions with deep operational knowledge of wealth management workflows and regulatory compliance, plus AI proficiency.
Croesus provides innovative, high-performance, and secure wealth management solutions that include portfolio management systems, portfolio rebalancing tools, and application programming interfaces (APIs). These solutions empower wealth management professionals to improve their productivity, enhance their client relationships, make informed decisions, and maximize the management of their assets under management. Croesus’s mission is to provide a superior experience to its clients, users, partners, and employees and to positively impact the community. With more than 200 employees in its Montréal, Toronto, and Geneva offices, Croesus has won several industry awards for being a high-quality solution provider and an outstanding employer. Position: We are looking for a Senior Product Manager whose primary value is operational knowledge of Canadian wealth management — gained from the inside, at leading financial institutions. You understand the real workflows of advisors. You know where the friction, inefficiencies, and blind spots lie. You have experienced regulatory constraints and compliance pressures. And you understand what AI could bring to this industry. You will help rethink our platform by contributing your expertise in the field. This role is not that of a generalist product manager who learns about the industry along the way. It is a role for someone who comes in with a deep understanding of the field and knows how to identify where a solution provider like Croesus can bring real value to financial advisors and the Canadian wealth management industry. Wealth Management Solutions Product Vision • Help define the vision for the next generation of the Croesus platform, drawing on in-depth knowledge of the real needs of financial advisors and Canadian institutions; • Identify opportunities to transform existing workflows (portfolio management, rebalancing, client reporting, KYC, performance attribution, fee billing, compliance); • Translate this field knowledge into concrete, proposed, high-impact product initiatives; • Represent Croesus to strategic clients at Customer Advisory Boards and industry conferences. AI applied to wealth management operations • Actively use AI tools in your own work process—research, synthesis, analysis, writing specifications—to operate with rigor and efficiency; • Work with the product team to identify the financial advisor workflows that are best suited for improvement through AI; • Define the principles for integrating AI into the platform: when it suggests, when it automates, when it alerts — always respecting the advisor's autonomy and trust; • Collaborate with the AI/ML teams to translate business use cases into actionable specifications and validate that the solutions delivered create measurable value in the field; • Help define standards for the explainability and transparency of AI features, taking into account Canadian regulatory requirements. Discovery Client & Roadmap • Conduct ongoing discovery with financial advisors, compliance officers, and operational teams at Canadian banking institutions; • Help map user journeys and identify priority friction points; • Build and maintain a multi-horizon roadmap (Now-Next-Later), balancing feature parity, market differentiation, and new AI capabilities; • Validate product assumptions through pilots, usability tests, and alpha/beta programs with strategic customers. Execution & Quality • Collaborate with Product Owners and engineering teams to translate the vision into an executable backlog; • Ensure rigor in financial data: data accuracy, reconciliation, audit trail, exception handling; • Integrate regulatory requiremen;ts from the design stage (e.g., CIRO, AMF, CRM2, PIPEDA) • Monitor post-launch adoption and performance, and drive continuous improvement. • Reporting to : VP & Chief Product Officer Requirements: Academic training and experience • 5 to 10 years of experience with leading Canadian financial institutions: major banks, brokerage firms, institutional or independent portfolio managers of significant size; • In-depth operational mastery of WealthTech workflows: portfolio management, rebalancing, fee billing, performance attribution (TWR, MWR), client reporting, trading, settlement, corporate actions; • Hands-on understanding of Canadian regulatory constraints: CIRO, AMF, CRM2, Client Focused Reforms, KYC/AML, suitability obligations, PIPEDA; • Knowledge of the ecosystem: custodians, market data providers, FIX/ISO 20022 standards, existing technology players; • Proficiency and enthusiasm for AI; • Active user of AI tools in daily work: LLMs, generation, analysis, and automation tools; • Ability to build structured AI workflows to increase own productivity; • Good knowledge of the concepts underlying modern AI architectures (RAG, agent orchestration, human-in-the-loop) — conceptual mastery is sufficient, in-depth technical expertise is not required; • Clear and enthusiastic vision of how AI can tangibly improve financial advice.
