This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. We’re seeking a social media strategist to support our Marketing & Communications team in translating monthly themes and campaigns into high-impact, channel-ready content. You’ll help us expand our reach, boost engagement, and build an intentional presence that reflects both our urgency and our values. You’ll help us: • Translate program and storytelling themes into social-friendly formats • Plan content calendars that balance education, storytelling, and calls to action • Guide us on content strategy and audience growth • Brainstorm visuals and messaging alongside our designer and copywriter We’re not chasing virality. We’re building visibility with purpose. Creshendo helps migrants and displaced people access education, integration support, and storytelling platforms. But support means little if people don’t know we exist. Your work will help us reach the people who need us, and the people who can help us grow. Visibility is power, and you’ll be building it where it matters most. We already have an active team using Instagram, LinkedIn, and Canva. Our Marketing & Communications team meets biweekly, works in Google Drive, and has clear direction for each campaign. You’ll have access to past content, upcoming priorities, and a team that’s ready to execute. Through specialized programs and support services, we equip them with the tools, knowledge, and resources to navigate new environments, advocate for their needs, and achieve their aspirations.
