Should also be experienced in designing, developing, and test applications. This role primarily involves GitHub Actions as the sole DevOps responsibility. Below are some responsibilities typically expected from a Cloud DevOps Engineer: · • Design and set up AKS environments using Terraform. • Proficient in Kubernetes, with a preference for CKAD certification. • Skilled in Docker and Docker Swarm. · Utilize Helm Charts for application deployment and management. • Develop CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications to Azure (ACA/AKS). • Diagnose and resolve network issues within the Azure ecosystem. · Configure Active/Active or Active/Passive setups in Azure cloud environments. • Deploy React Single Page Applications (SPA) and Spring Boot Microservices to Azure. · • Experience in setting up ephemeral environments with Docker-in-Docker (DinD). Ideal DevOps engineer responsibilities: • Design and implement scalable Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. • Manage and monitor Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, ensuring high availability and performance. • Automate deployment processes and configuration management across Azure environments. · • Implement and manage Azure security best practices, including identity management, role-based access control (RBAC), and network security. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure, networking, and application deployments. • Optimize cloud costs by monitoring resource usage and implementing cost-saving strategies. · • Configure and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications into Azure environments. • Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity by implementing backup and failover strategies in Azure. Minimum Experience: • Azure 3+ years (Azure Preferred) • Docker/Docker Swarm • Helm Charts • Active/Active and Active/Passive Azure Cloud Environments • CI/CD GitHub/Github Actions • Kubernetes (AKS, ACA) • ServiceNow (1-3 Years) (Helpful) • Checkmarx/Sonar (1-3 Years) • Gradle/Maven (1-3) • Eclipse/IntelliJ/Visual Studio • Linux (Redhat/Ubuntu) • Artifact Management(Artifactory/Nexus Repository) Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related subject, or 7+ year experience in IT • Experience using at least some of the following: DevOps, Docker Hub (Compose, Containers), GITHUB, Gradle, Maven, Spring • Experience with Cloud/Server-Side Technologies – Linux, NGINX, CDN (Akamai, Front Door), AKS, ACA, WAF, Key Vaults, Logging · • Experience working with Agile methodologies required • Exceptional problem solving / analytical thinking and skills. • Service Mesh exp needed.
