As a family-run business, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Summary We are seeking a General Manager to oversee operations at Creative Packaging. This role is critical in ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining our high standards of quality and customer service. The General Manager will play a key role in driving the company’s growth and success. Responsibilities: Production / Shipping & Receiving · Attend weekly action meetings. · Follow weekly production schedule. · Meet production quota goals. · Follow weekly shipping schedule, ensuring orders are shipped. · Ensure the upkeep of production Dashboard data entry and information. · Ensure shipping and receiving processes and filings are completed. Labor / Training · Ensure site personnel are trained and perform their roles in accordance with ISO training and position expectations. · Ensure site staff meets labor cost and structural expectations. · Ensure all onboarding processes, documents, and filings are completed. Organization · Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the materials, product, equipment, facility, and property meets company standards. · Ensure inventory counts are performed and tracked. · Ensure the upkeep of equipment and facility maintenance. · Ensure the tracking, stocking, and organization of parts inventory.Quality · Ensure waste is maintained within company tolerance. · Ensure company quality standards are followed and enforced. · Ensure quality testing/checks are performed and filed. Safety · Attend safety meetings. · Act and manage in accordance with safety policy. · Ensure that safety policies are followed and enforced. · Ensure safety measurables and injury/accident processes are performed and file. Leadership / Professionality · Act and manage in accordance with company policy. · Follow direction provided by the Operations Supervisor. · Ensure company policies are followed and enforced. · Ensure the upkeep of HR Dashboard data entry and information. · Provide employees with guidance/support needed in addressing issues negatively impacting the site’s performance, wellbeing, ethics, and morale. · Provide employees with performance evaluations and expectations. Requirements • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar managerial role in manufacturing or related industries. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams effectively. • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. • Strong analytical skills to assess performance metrics and make data-driven decisions. • Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
