We are actively seeking an Event Director for our Miami office. Position Overview: Reporting to the VP of Sales & Operations, the Event Director will actively respond to inquiries, prospect, and solicit business that enables the company to meet and exceed revenue goals in food, beverage, rentals, staffing and design. A passion for food, beverage, and perfectly executed events is a requirement for this position. What you’ll do: • Sales: Solicit new accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals. This will consist of telephone outreach, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication. • Proposals: Prepare correspondence to clients, including proposal, agreements, event related documents as well as exceptionally clear internal communication. • Consult with clients on menu selection, rental requirements and on occasion, venue selection. • Collaborate with Culinary Leaders in order to custom plan menus and ensure profitability; work with staff to ensure a seamless event • Networking: Attend networking events, industry functions and regularly entertain prospective clients. • Knowledge Base: Maintain a professional knowledge of the event landscape, competitive set and strategic pricing.
