Our retail client seeks a freelance Sr. Packaging & Visual Merchandising Designer to assist their team with ongoing, project-based work thru at least the end of 2025! While the team would prefer to find someone local in the Los Angeles area who could come in 1-2 times/week, they are open to a fully remote role with availability to work during standard Pacific Time business hours. This Sr. Packaging & Visual Merchandising Designer Will • Report to the Creative Director • Evolve and refine packaging guidelines and templates • Create and maintain presentation decks, design files, and templates for internal and external use • Support the design, development and execution of visual merchandising assets such as in-store architecture, displays, and pop-up environments • Lead creative concepts for visual merchandising displays, delivering high quality renderings and presentation decks • Hand off approved concepts to Sr. Designer for execution of mechanical files • Ensure brand consistency and standards are met across all designs and touchpoints This Sr. Packaging & Visual Merchandising Designer Has • Minimum 5+ years of relevant design experience • Experience within CPG and/or Beauty industry • Strong portfolio showcasing packaging and/or retail design work • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment • Experience with PM tools such as Wrike or Monday.com In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
