Job Description Our client-a specialized product manufacturer-is looking for a Director of E-Commerce to lead their digital business and drive online growth. In this role, you'll be the central force behind the company's e-commerce strategy, working closely with teams across marketing, IT, product, and customer experience to deliver a seamless and engaging online shopping experience. You'll be managing a small team to help shape the vision and tactical success of our client's e-comm presence. What You'll Be Doing • Shaping Strategy: You'll set the vision for the e-commerce business, define goals, and lead initiatives that boost revenue, customer engagement, and operational efficiency. • Running the Site: From site performance and navigation to checkout flows and product merchandising, you'll ensure the website is optimized for conversion and customer satisfaction. • Driving Results: You'll use A/B testing, CRO tactics, and analytics to improve key metrics like average order value and purchase frequency. • Partnering Across Teams: You'll collaborate with supply chain, fulfillment, and customer service to align inventory and ensure smooth delivery. You'll also work closely with marketing to support campaigns-without directly managing paid media. • Managing Vendors: You'll oversee relationships with third-party platforms, logistics partners, and marketplace channels. • Leading the Team: You'll manage a cross-functional group including a Product Manager, Web Specialist, Marketplace Specialist, and external agencies. • Staying Ahead: You'll keep an eye on competitors, market trends, and emerging tech to identify new opportunities and ensure compliance with legal and data privacy standards. What You Bring • A strong background in e-commerce operations, site management, and merchandising • Expertise in e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar). • Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with external vendors • Analytical skills and comfort with tools like GA4, Adobe Analytics, and BI platforms • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and OMS systems • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities • A customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering great digital experiences • Bonus points for experience in B2B, fashion, or law enforcement industries Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (Master's preferred) • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce with a proven track record of driving growth • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
