Our global Entertainment client is seeking a Digital Project Manager, Business Systems to join their team for the next 12 months, 40 hours/week. This role is fully remote with an option for hybrid if desired in Burbank, CA. Role Summary The Digital Project Manager, Business Systems plays a key role in building a more efficient, scalable, and accurate digital content supply chain. This role focuses on improving how digital content is prepared, validated, delivered, and maintained across platforms. You will drive operational clarity, reduce manual effort, enhance data quality, and support the timely delivery of digital content by leading workflow analysis, defining technical and business requirements, and managing cross functional initiatives. Top Must Have Skills 5 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or hybrid BA/PM Proven success leading complex, multi-team projects from discovery through delivery Strong experience in digital media operations, content distribution, publishing workflows, or licensing processes (strongly preferred) Demonstrated ability to break down complex workflows and identify automation or optimization opportunities Expertise in requirements documentation, process mapping, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with comfort navigating fast-paced, evolving environments Additional Qualifications Bachelors degree in a technical or related field; advanced degree a plus Strong analytical, problemsolving, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously Experience supporting testing, validation, and rollout of system enhancements Familiarity with digital asset management, content rights data, or metadata workflows (preferred) Responsibilities Process Analysis & Workflow Mapping Lead end-to-end analysis of existing digital content workflows, documenting steps, dependencies, pain points, and data touchpoints Map multiple ingestion and contentavailability paths to identify opportunities for automation and standardization Collaborate with internal teams to ensure workflows support accurate, timely, and scalable digital content delivery Requirements Gathering & Functional Design Partner with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into clear, actionable business and functional requirements Work closely with technical teams to support solution design and ensure alignment with project goals Define future state workflows, data models, and system interactions related to content availability, rights information, and digital asset distribution Project Management Manage timelines, communication, and delivery milestones across multiple concurrent workstreams Facilitate cross-functional discussions, drive alignment, and track dependencies Identify and manage risks, issues, and blockers Support testing, validation, and rollout of new tools, enhancements, or processes Operational Support & Documentation Develop clear process documentation, workflow diagrams, requirements artifacts, and user-facing materials Prepare operational teams for new processes and system behaviors through training and knowledge transfer Help establish best practices that improve accuracy, reduce manual work, and increase transparency across digital content operations In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
