Seeking an experienced and detail-focused Lead CNC Machinist to join the manufacturing team. This individual will oversee CNC machining operations, ensure precision manufacturing of hydraulic sealing components, support workflow efficiency, and play a key role in maintaining longstanding commitment to quality. Responsibilities CNC Machining & Programming Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes, mills, and related equipment. Program and modify CNC programs using Fusion 360. Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Select proper tooling and optimize machining parameters for efficiency and precision Leadership & Workflow Management Serve as the lead machinist for daily machining operations. Train, mentor, and support CNC machinists and machine operators. Coordinate machining priorities to meet production schedules and deadlines. Maintain communication with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues. Quality Assurance Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges). Maintain strict adherence to GCI’s quality standards and documentation requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product accuracy and reduce waste. Maintenance & Safety Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment and collaborate with maintenance staff on repairs. Ensure all safety procedures are followed and promote safe working practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Qualifications: 5+ years of CNC machining experience, preferably in high-precision manufacturing. Proficiency in Fusion 360 for programming and toolpath creation. Strong knowledge of CNC machine setup, tooling, offsets, G-code, and machining processes. Experience working with hydraulic or mechanical components preferred. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerances. Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills.
