Crawford, Murphy & Tilly is seeking a Facilities Administrator to join the team in our Springfield, IL office. This is not a remote position. We are a fast-growing firm with 500+ employees across 25 offices in 10 states serving clients through our four primary business groups: • Aviation • Surface Transportation • Water Resources • Building & Site Services As a Facilities Administrator you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and functionality of all company facilities across multiple locations. This role ensures that buildings, grounds, and infrastructure are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and supports business operations. The ideal candidate has experience with contracts, vendors, and budgeting skills. This role provides the opportunity to experience new challenges in a dynamic environment. Up to 10% travel will be required to support multiple sites. What you will do: • Oversee day-to-day facilities operations at multiple company sites, ensuring consistency and quality across all locations. • Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs, repairs, and capital improvements. • Manage site-based facility teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure service levels and safety compliance. • Collaborate with security vendors, IT, HR, and other departments to maintain workplace safety, cleanliness, and functionality. • Maintain facility-related compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, ADA). • Develop and manage the annual facilities budget; track expenses and seek cost-effective solutions. • Lead facility-related projects including renovations, relocations, and new site openings or closures. • Enforce standardized facility management practices across locations to ensure efficiency and brand consistency. • Coordinate with landlords or property managers for leased sites. • Implement sustainability initiatives (e.g., energy efficiency, waste reduction). • Be willing to work as a team player. Here is what you'll need: • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field (preferred). • 5+ years of budgeting, contract review, lease management. • Understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), general maintenance, and workplace safety standards. • Excellent project management, vendor negotiation, and contract management skills. • Proficient with facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly. The expected compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location.
